Richelle started learning the healing arts at the age of 14 and has been a licensed clinical massage therapist and bodywork educator for eight years. Her massage treatments regularly integrate therapeutic yoga exercises to help build the strength necessary to change a client’s postural habits. Her perspective on massage has been influenced by many modalities and now focuses on direct myofascial release, range of motion and deep tissue, while integrating work on the energetic body. Her work is aimed at treating injury, reducing chronic pain conditions and correcting postural distortions.
As a Yogini, Richelle has studied different yoga traditions and disciplines through workshops with locally and nationally renowned instructors, trained in the YogaFit system and has graduated from the YogaWorks 200-hour teacher training. She is registered with Yoga Alliance, the only nationally recognized accrediting board, as an RYT200 Registered Yoga Teacher. As an active member of the Seattle area yoga community, Richelle is supported and connected to studios, teachers, and students through YogaBlaze, an online network offering Event Calendars and Yoga Announcements to the community at large. Her approach to teaching breaks yoga postures down step-by-step so you begin to build strength and confidence from the very beginning. Richelle offers her extensive knowledge of anatomy and movement to her classes in easy to understand terms that make the practice safe and accessible to all ages and body types. Yoga has brought profound change to Richelle’s own life–relieving chronic pain, significant weight-loss, elevated mood, and a positive life-perspective–and continues to live Yoga every day. She is immensely grateful for the opportunity to share her yogic journey with you and assist you in finding the potential within you through yoga.
At this time, Richelle takes appointments Wednesday-Sunday for the following:

~Yoga Therapy
