Each year Seattle Bodywork Cooperative gathers donations from our clients and friends to take to these neighborhood food banks. The Ballard Food Bank utilizes a “boutique” where those in need may come for free clothing, blankets and self-care items. The University District Food Bank provides 1,000 families with groceries and toiletries each week.
As we did last year, we will also accept cash donations. We use 100% of these donations to purchase toothpaste, toothbrushes and other self-care items to bring to the food banks. We use the Dollar Tree to get the most product for the money. Please consider bringing your donations… Read more »»

I want to extend a whole-hearted thank you to all of the participants in last weekend’s (October 31st/November 1st) Functional Anatomy for Yoga Instructors workshop. I knew that Anatomy and Physiology were sorely lacking from the training of many Yoga teachers, but it was so rewarding to see how eager you all were to soak up everything you could!!

Now that almost a year has passed after the formation of the Seattle Bodywork Co-op, I find myself more satisfied than I had anticipated with this endeavour.
